What is SPY24?

How does SPY24 work?

SPY24 collects data from the device on which it is installed and displays it in the Control Panel which you can access using any Internet browser.
To start using SPY24, you need to check the compatibility of the device you’d like to monitor, choose the subscription plan and proceed with the purchase. After that, you receive an email with the login and password to your personal Control Panel where you also find the installation instructions. Basically, you’ll need to have a full authorized physical access to the target device, launch the phone browser, type in the link for downloading the program and proceed with the installation. By installing SPY24, you confirm your intention to use this software legally, i.e. you install SPY24 on your own device, the device of your underage child or the owner of the device agrees to be monitored.

Does SPY24 work worldwide?

Our monitoring software works regardless of the cellular carrier network or the location of the target device and is compatible with all service providers (carriers). However, SPY24 requires an Internet connection to transfer data to your personal account (Control Panel – your account that will be created after purchase). Thus mobile Internet or Wi-Fi connection must be switched on the target device.

What devices are supported by SPY24?

SPY24 is compatible with smartphones and tablets that run:

NOTE: SPY24 and SPY24 Without Jailbreak are the two separate solutions of the same elite monitoring product. You may freely switch between the two solutions, although in doing so, captured data logs will be lost.

Is SPY24 icon displayed on the monitored device?

Right after the installation, SPY24 application is launched and starts working in a background mode. The icon which appears after SPY24 installation does not contain any settings for SPY24 functionality. For better user experience, there are 2 options: either to keep it on the dashboard of the monitored device or not.
By installing SPY24, you confirm your intention to use this software legally, i.e. you install SPY24 on your own device, the device of your underage child or the owner of the device agrees to be monitored.

SPY24 application was designed to help parents to keep their children safe and workers productive, and its usage is absolutely legal.
Please make sure that your intentions to use our application meet the following legal requirements:
You want to use SPY24 as a parental control solution for monitoring your underage children.
You want to use SPY24 as a solution for monitoring company-owned devices of which employees are aware of being monitored.
You want to install SPY24 on your own device.

Can I install SPY24 remotely?

If your target device is iPhone or Ipad
SPY24 can be installed remotely if you choose SPY24 Without Jailbreak with fewer monitoring features using iCloud credentials of the target device. Make sure it backs up regularly (every 24 hours). Still, the access may become necessary if the iCloud backup isn’t activated on the device.
In case the iOS device (phone or tablet) is jailbroken, you will need 5-15 minutes of physical access to the device for a successful installation. Once fully installed, SPY24 will begin sending monitored data logs to your personal Control Panel – your account that will be created after purchase.
In case the device is not jailbroken, you will have to jailbreak it before SPY24 installation, which will take some time.

When installing SPY24 on Android OS-based device, physical access is required.

How do I install SPY24?

SPY24 Without Jailbreak
If your target phone is an iPhone and you do not want to jailbreak it, you can use SPY24 Without Jailbreak that requires users’ iCloud credentials for installation. You will need to log in to your Control Panel and choose a proper option that leads you through a few simple steps of installation. iPhone back up has to be enabled on the device. 

Please, be informed that iPhones back up to iCloud once a day only if the following conditions are met:
the device is connected to Wi-Fi;
the device is plugged in;
the device is locked.
If iCloud Backup is not switched on the device, please activate it manually in Settings > iCloud > iCloud Backup > On. Then go to Backup section and hit Back Up Now for SPY24 to make the initial synchronization of the data from the target device to your Control Panel.
Regular SPY24 application for iOS
To install regular SPY24 application and have permission to all available features, you need to jailbreak the target device. First of all, you will have to check if your device can be jailbroken because some newer versions of iOS may not have jailbreak available yet. To check it, you can take target device, and open Settings > General > About > Version and check all the needed instructions and latest jailbreaking tools (versions) here: Once the jailbreak is done, you can log in to your Control Panel and choose iPhone to continue the installation. The whole procedure of jailbreak and installation may take up to 30 minutes*

SPY24 for Android-based OS
To install SPY24 to an Android device, you need to have authorized physical access to the device and choose Android in your Control Panel to see the instructions.
 Please, be informed that SPY24 can be installed without rooting. But if you wish to monitor Whatsapp, Viber, Facebook, Skype, Line, Snapchat and Gmail, your target Android phone should be rooted*
*If you are experiencing difficulties with installation or having troubles with setting up the features we’ll gladly perform the initial installation of SPY24 on your target mobile device with our special service assistance! How can I uninstall SPY24?

If you suspect that SPY24 is illegally installed on your device, you can uninstall it using the following instructions:
iOS devices:
Go to Cydia > Installed > Click on IphoneInternalService > Modify > Remove
Android devices:
Go to Phone Settings > Security > Device Administrators > Update Service > Deactivate > Get back to Settings > Apps > Update Service > Uninstall
Where can I check data from the monitored device?
Once SPY24 is set up on the monitored device and is connected to our server, the information will be automatically displayed in the Control Panel of your personal account that can be accessed from any browser.

What will I see in my bank statement?

What happens after the purchase?

As soon as the payment is approved (you receive a confirmation email from the billing company) the next step is to check your inbox for the welcoming email from SPY24. Make sure you check both Inbox and Spam folders. 
The welcoming email contains the link to your personal web Control Panel (data storage) and Login credentials. Follow the link and login to your account (Control Panel) where you will see an Installation Wizard with all of the instructions on how to set up a new device.

How can I get a refund?

How often does SPY24 information gets updated?

Using SPY24 Without Jailbreak, you receive information within 24 hours since the latest back up has been done. Usually, it takes that much time because backups can reach up to a few gigabytes, and it depends on Wi-Fi connection quality.
If you have SPY24 on a jailbroken iPhone or Android, you can expect to receive updates based on the Update Interval you have selected. The Update Interval specifies how often SPY24 is connected to our server and transfers information directly to your Control Panel. When manually adjusting Update Interval from your account, please note that short update intervals (less than 10 min) may consume considerable battery life. Please, be informed that sometimes it can take up to 24 hours to receive all updates, especially if the phone constantly uses 3G/4G connection which is not very stable and always depends on signal strength.

Why does the monitored device require an Internet connection?

The monitored device must be Internet-enabled for SPY24 to send information from the monitored device to your Control Panel. It uses both Wi-Fi and 3G/4G Internet connections. Once the information is uploaded to our server, it will be displayed in the Control Panel of your account.

Can I monitor two or more devices?

Please be informed that you can monitor as many phones as you want. When you purchase one subscription, you can monitor one cell phone only. But you can change target cell phones free of charge during all subscription period as many times as you wish. If you want to monitor 2 cells at a time, you need to purchase two subscriptions.

My monitored device is an iPhone. Do I really need to jailbreak it to be able to install SPY24?

Currently, SPY24 offers monitoring software for both jailbroken and non-jailbroken devices. If you do not wish to jailbreak the device, you may purchase SPY24 Without Jailbreak.

For access to SPY24’s full range of monitoring features, it is required that an iOS device is jailbroken.

Does jailbreak void the warranty? Can I unjailbreak the target iDevice to restore the warranty?

While the Jailbreak procedure voids the device’s warranty, it is completely reversible. Updating to the latest iOS version or bringing the phone back to factory settings will reverse the warranty. To keep SPY24 fully operational on the target device, we would recommend not to update the iOS version as it may affect jailbreak and SPY24 installation.

What happens after the Jailbreak procedure?

After the Jailbreak procedure, the device will operate in the same mode as it used to, the user will be able to download media and applications from iTunes and use iCloud regularly. Once Jailbreak is done an icon of Cydia will appear on the springboard of the target device. Jailbreaking procedure doesn’t affect the phone’s performance, and in many cases, it even extends battery usage of the device.

What is rooting? Do I need to root the Android device to use SPY24? Does Android rooting void warranty?

Rooting is the process of allowing users of smartphones and tablets running the Android operating system to attain privileged control (known as root access) within the Android’s subsystem. While the Rooting procedure voids the device’s warranty, it is completely reversible. Rooting is required only if you need to monitor the non-default applications such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Viber, Skype, and Gmail (available only to Premium account holders).

Please, be informed that SPY24 starts collecting data only after being installed on the target device. We do not provide monitoring by the phone or IMEI number; you need to access the device and install the application on it first.

  • No, there is no data upload limit, and you can enjoy unlimited storage on your SPY24 Control Panel.
  • Can I monitor data from my own phone?
  • Yes, you can remotely monitor a target phone or tablet from your own phone, too. However, for the best monitoring experience, we do not recommend monitoring through the phone.
  • How do I check the target phone and tablet usage stats?
  • Once you log into your SPY24 Control Panel, you can check all uploaded data categorized under relevant tabs. Navigate within the tabs to check phone call logs, SMS, IM chats, web browsing data and location stats.
  • Do I get SPY24 upgrades?
  • Yes, you will receive SPY24 updates from time to time. You will have to reinstall the application on the target phone or tablet to get the best experience.
  • Do I have to reinstall the app if the target phone or tablet gets a software update?
  • We are constantly working to make sure SPY24 is compatible with the latest OS upgrades and normally announce compatibility within days of a new OS being launched. That said, you can always check with a SPY24 Customer Support agent to make sure.
  • How to uninstall the application?

  • You don’t need to download anything on the target device if the iCloud backup is toggled on. Only Apple ID and password is required to monitor the target device.
  • How long will it take for data to be uploaded to my account? 
  • Data that are recorded from the target device will be uploaded to your SPY24 account every 24 hours after the last backup on iCloud. Data on iCloud is backed up automatically if the device is connected to WIFI, locked and plugged in. Recorded data will display after 3 automatic backups.   • How do I backup iCloud? 
  • iCloud backup from the target device will take place every 24 hours. But make sure that the target device is plugged in, locked and connected to WIFI. You will also need to check the status of iCloud storage. Your data will start to upload every 24 hours as soon as 3 automatic backups take place. You can check if the iCloud backup is enabled/disabled See FAQ#2 To check the last backup details: Settings→ iCloud→ Storage and Backup→ Last Backup You can change WIFI settings: Settings→ Wi-Fi→ Green→ Choose Network Note: The available default backup storage for iCloud is 5GB. SPY24 will not function if there is no available space on iCloud storage. To check available storage: Settings→ iCloud→ Storage and Backup
  • Do I need to buy SPY24 from the same device that I wish to monitor? 
  • NO. you can buy SPY24 from any available device. Make sure you have the Apple ID and password of the target device.
  • Can SPY24 access delete text messages?

  • What if the monitored user changes their iCloud credentials, will I still be able to monitor them? 
  • You will need access to the iCloud credentials every time they are changed or updated by the monitored user to continue monitoring their cell phones or tablets.
